I’m Justin Chase Ford.

I’m a Marine veteran, an entrepreneur and a family man who believes that discipline and service can change lives. My story began in a small family business at twelve, where I swept floors, counted inventory and learned how hard work and honesty can build something real. By the time I was sixteen I had moved from watching my parents to taking on real responsibility in another venture. Those early days taught me what it takes to keep a business running: long hours, constant learning and a commitment to the people around me.

In my early twenties I helped start nonprofits focused on veterans and first responders, and I’ve continued to support that community ever since. The common thread through all of it has been a conviction that enterprise can be a force for good when it’s rooted in service. I’ve never believed you have to choose between making a living and making a difference.

From the Marines to Money Matters

The U.S. Marine Corps sharpened that belief. The training, the brotherhood and the mission gave me resilience and a sense of duty that still guides me. After leaving the service, I went to school for business and finance, but I quickly realised something was missing. Most financial education doesn’t prepare everyday families to protect what they have and grow it wisely. I was frustrated by how many people get taken advantage of, so I decided to dig deeper. I read everything I could find about the SEC, FINRA, Wall Street and the Federal Reserve. I wanted to understand the rules of money so I could help people play a fair game.

Ninth Star Foundation and Our Regenerative Work

Service also means taking care of people and the planet. Ninth Star Foundation is our family’s philanthropic arm, and it stands on its own as a hands‑on way for us to give back. Over the years we’ve formalised our volunteer work into a foundation that lets us do more good together. We support Veterans and first responders by offering mentorship and resources when they transition out of uniform. We build community gardens in neighbourhoods that need healthy food, starting thousands of seedlings that we share with schools, food banks, houses of faith and families. We raise hardy plants for distribution across the country and teach people how to grow them. When disasters strike - whether it’s a hurricane in the Southeast or a wildfire out West - we partner with local groups to deliver supplies and help neighbours rebuild. Whether I’m helping a community start a garden or working side by side with fellow Veterans, the goal is the same: give more than I take and leave things better than I found them.
